Transformation Through New Approaches and Collaborations

The conference features collaboration strategies designed to strengthen and increase access to research, instruction and outreach programs in family and consumer sciences and human sciences. Best practices to be discussed include partnerships with corporations, non-profit organizations, foundations, and government agencies. Presentations featuring multi-disciplinary collaborations will focus on partnerships with health sciences as well as development and advancement. The presentations will provide important insights and information for deans, directors and department chairs.

Registration is expected to open November 10, 2012 for both the conference and the hotel reservations. We will be at the Crystal City Marriott Hotel in Arlington, Virginia and were fortunate to obtain a special lodging rate of $179 per night. The registration will be $395 and includes Wednesday dinner, Thursday breakfast and lunch, Friday brunch and beverages and snacks throughout the conference. The late registration fee will be $450.
